Tseropoulos Lab

The Tseropoulos Lab investigates inflammation as a central driver of disease, tissue dysfunction, and regeneration. By combining biomaterials engineering, extracellular vesicle biology, advanced microscopy, quantitative ML-driven image analysis, the lab studies how cells communicate within inflammatory microenvironments and how these interactions can be redirected towards therapeutics.

Our research spans cardiovascular disease and neuroengineering, with particular interests in aortic valve stenosis, neuroinflammation, and the inflammatory mechanisms that drive pathological tissue remodeling and degeneration.
